I see your trans guy Lars headcanons, and they are truly things of beauty and I love them - but would you consider for a moment the possibility of trans girl Lars?

Lars who is still in the closet, maybe even to herself

Lars who never fit into the ‘boy’ box and became obsessed with the performance of ‘masculinity’ and ‘normality’ - constantly thinking about what people will think, what people will see, because it has been made clear that being herself is unacceptable.

Lars who is confused and maybe a bit jealous of Steven - this weird little kid who is allowed to be weird. Who is allowed to wear pink and love and be gentle and sweet and caring with no one telling him to ‘toughen up’ and ‘be a man’.

Lars who remembers Rose, this big beautiful pink woman who found young Lars crying on the beach and let her climb up to sit on her lap. Who seemed to love her, already, for no reason at all. Who said that of course Lars could grow up to be as beautiful as she was, and tucked a flower behind her ear to keep. 
Lars also remembers how much trouble she got into at home for that flower, and turned it all around into bitterness at Rose for having lied.

Lars who hates all this ridiculous magic stuff - because if all this is possible, if all of this is real, then why is she still wrong? why can’t she be fixed!?

She doesn’t even know herself if she means her body and the way it is seen and reacted to, the overwhelmingly difficult constant performance of masculinity, or that place in her heart that whispers ‘she’.
